Enaknya bisa sekolah di Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Indonesia adalah Anda bisa bertemu dengan para praktisi hebat dibidangnya masing-masing
Mulai dari CEO SOGO, CEO Indofood ampe sekedar adiknya menteri kita bisa ketemu semuanya di Universitas gue Tercinta (Mau merubah hidup lo? Masuk FEUI)
Suatu ketika saya mengambil bisnis internasion, dan selidik punya selidik ternyata saya baru mengetahui ternyata beliau adalah anggota DPR. Asikmya kita suka nodong dia dibeliin makanan, Minta jalan-jalan ke Departemen Pemerintahan, Pokoknya ngelunjak banget deh waktu itu…Hahahaha…..
Tapi ada sebuah perkataan dia yang bener-bener ngerubah gue tentang publisitas
Memang sedari kecil saya sudah mencintai publisitas, kenapa?….Yah, lo bayangin aja lo terbiasa jadi orang tertinggi di kelas, Jadi orang yang pake kacamata sendiri di SD, Bottom point gue dah terbiasa dengan publisitas karena keunikan gue…..
Tapi Waktu itu Bapak Zulkiflimansyah berkata,
“Bukan apa yang kamu kerjakan yang menarik pewawancara, tapi siapa kamu”
Kata-kata ini keluar ketika kita membahas setelah lulus kuliah mo kerja ditanya wawancara apa yang bapak jawab….Waktu itu dia bilang, Menjadi ketua BEM sangat membantu dia dalam interview perusahaan…Terus kompak kita menjawab, kenapa?….Dia bilang, karena saya bisa membual kalo saya pernah menjadi presiden di negara UI….
Kalo programmer ditanya, apa pekerjaan kamu….
Masa kamu bilang kamu programmer?…
Kamu bakal bilang, “Saya yang nyiptain friendster”….
Nah sekarang bayangkan kalo kamu bukan siapa-siapa….
Apa yang kamu jawab?
Saya bukan siapa2? Saya tidak melakukan apa2?
Salah!
Jawab siapa kamu!
Saya pencipta musik anu, saya pemain bassist band itu, saya pencipta mesin ini, saya tukang design gedung ini dan seterusnya dan seterusnya….
Sekarang bayangkan, saya adalah seseorang yang tukang pompa di gas….Anda adalah seorang arsitek…Tapi dikartu nama saya menuliskan, “Petroleum Executive”….Sedangkan anda hanya menuliskan, “Arsitek”…
Jika kita berdua sama-sama menyerahkan kartu nama kita ke bapak SBY (Bukan surabaya tentunya) siapa yang kemungkinan besar akan diajak berbicara diantara kita berdua?
Mengerti kenapa publicity itu penting?

Almost all of the things you point out happens to be supprisingly precise and it makes me ponder the reason why I had not looked at this with this light previously. This piece really did switch the light on for me personally as far as this particular topic goes.
