Google for Dummies : Internet is the best source of information
Seringkali gue dimintain begini ama temen gue,”Cariin ini donk, gue gak nemu nih di google”Sebenernya, kenapa mereka minta cariin ke gue itu…Karena kebanyakan dari mereka “gak ngerti” cara pake google?dengan baik….
Seperti yang kita ketahui, google adalah tempatnya seluruh data berkumpul…Jadi kalo misalnya kita nyari sebuah nama misalkan “aditya” bakalan ada ratusan aditya lainnya yang bakalan nongol di internet…
Yang membedakan antara data dan informasi adalah kegunaannya…Data harus diolah dulu sebelum menjadi sebuah informasi….Nah, sekarang kita gunakan google untuk mengolah data….
Berikut adalah list dari fungsi syntax di google yang sering saya? gunakan
Fungsi tanda (”) pada dua buah kata atau lebih
Tanda kutip berfungsi untuk mencari seluruh term dalam sebuah tanda kutip….
Misalkan anda ingin mencari rumah sakit, maka sebaiknya anda menggunakan tanda kutip “rumah sakit” karena apabila anda tidak?menggunakan?tanda kutip maka yang kluar adalah?pencarian kata?rumah dan?kata sakit….bukan seluruhnya…
Fungsi tanda (+) dan (-) pada google
Tanda (+) adalah untuk menambahkan fungsi “and” dan (-) berfungsi untuk menambahkan kata (without)…
Misalkan, anda ingin mencari dua term tentang “store environment” dan “design” tapi tidak “marketing theory”…Maka pencarian syntaxnya adalah
“Store environment” + design – “marketing theory”
Yang artinya cari kata “store environment” dan design tanpa “Marketing theory”
Fungsi site: pada google
Misalnya lo bingung, kok di website http://www.cielers.net/ kok gak ada mp3 download yah…ato susah nyarinya…lo bisa masukin syntax “site:www.cielers.net”…

Hasil search hanya menghasilkan website dari http://www.cielers.net/?yang ada tulisan mp3 dan download
Fungsi filetype: pada google
Sering gak, gue pngen nyari nih pdf ini atau mp3 ini…tapi kok susah yah nyarinya di google…well sekarang gak lagi…
Gunain fungsi filetype: pada syntax google….Misal lo pengen nyari pdf file dari harry potter maka syntaxnya
filetype:pdf “harry potter”
Biasanya gue pake ini untuk nyari mp3 dan?pdf (untuk scientific journal dan e-books)…And it comes handy
Fungsi inurl: pada google
Kadang2 juga lo pengen nyari url sesuatu yang lo hanya inget sebagiannya aja…Nah pada saat ini gunain fungsi inurl: pada google…
Kadang2 sesuatu yang di inurl itu lebih konkret isinya dibanding ama yang ada di dalemnya…Jadi kadang lebih baik pake fungsi ini dibanding fungsi search biasa….
Fungsi intitle: pada google
Dan yang terakhir ini adalah my most favourite syntax setelah tanda kutip dan filetype…
Kenapa?
Karena fungsi intitle ini paling banyak gunanya…Misal lo mo cari artikel yang judulnya apa lo bisa cari di intitle….
Tapi, yang paling menarik dari intitle adalah pencarian index dari sebuah directory website…dengan kata lain, biasanya kita bisa direct download kalo dah nemu indexnya….
Tinggal ketik, intitle:”index of /” terus kliatan deh index-index dari yang biasanya tidak terlihat oleh mata…hahahaha….tinggal gabungin ama syntax yang lain bisa deh lo nyari yang sulit di cari….
