Catatan Perantauan Asahan I
Jadi ceritanya begini, perusahaan gue tercinta melempar gue lagi ke kota kecil yang pernah gue tempatin sebelumnya di Medan waktu dulu. Ayo tebaaaak. Dimanaaaaaa. Tepat, Tanjung Balai Asahan.
Kota Tanjung Balai Asahan ini merupakan kota yang cukup kecil, memiliki kios di sepanjang inti kotanya dan terdiri dari 3 jalan protokol. Saya lupa jalannya apa pikun euy. Yang pasti kalo nyari mall disini gak ada, mo nyari angkot rada susah, tapi bentor (becak motor) banyaknya minta ampun. Setiap hari terdengar suara burung wallet tapi selidik punya selidik ternyata suara wallet ini gak berasal dari wallet beneran. Tapi dari loudspeaker di sepanjang tengah kota untuk memanggil wallet-wallet yang berterbangan. Kalau malam tiba suara loudspeaker itu mulai menghilang tergantikan suara jangkrik malam. Kotanya tenang, pembawaan orang-orangnya pun lebih tenang dibandingkan Medan yang berisik dan hingar bingar.
Udara kotanya agak lembab meski siang hari tidak kering seperti bekasi atau Jakarta, meskipun panasnya kata orang sangat panas buat saya biasa saja. Coba saja tinggal di Bekasi, lebih parah ditambah dengan debu tanah merah yang bertebangan kemana-mana. Di kota Asahan ini jauh lebih nyaman dibanding Bekasi. Bau udaranya penuh dengan bau amis dari ikan yang mungkin ditangkap di tepi laut. Kota ini adalah kota pelabuhan, namun sampai sekarang pun belum tahu saya apa ada perdagangan illegal di kota ini. Katanya dulu banyak perdagangan illegal untuk baju bekas dan sembako.
Air kota ini tidak terlalu bagus, keruh dan gatal dikulit. Makanan kota ini cenderung sangat murah dibandingkan di Medan. 2 Ayam Goreng dan 2 Nasi hanya 8000 rupiah. Nasi Goreng dan Milo hanya 10000 rupiah. Berbeda jauh dibandingkan dengan Medan. Tapi kota ini penuh dengan orang-orang yang ramah.
Saya ini terus terang bukan orang yang pandai bergaul, 24 tahun 11 bulan (Ups bentar lagi ultah…Pulang ah ke Jakarta kalau boleh) masih juga belajar bagaimana caranya menjalin hubungan dengan orang lain. Memang saya sadari berteman itu tidak semudah berteman di facebook. Tapi tetap buat saya berteman itu suatu hal yang rumit dan sulit. Dari kecil saya memang lebih suka sendiri dan memang beberapa tahun terakhir ini saya menchallange diri saya sendiri untuk mendapatkan teman sebanyak mungkin.
Memasuki kantor bos saya, ada 3 pesan yang dia berikan ke saya. Menurut saya pesan yang paling penting adalah ?Jangan hanya menjadi handai taulan? (Handai Taulan itu Cuma dikenal doank gak kenal deket). Pesan yang menurut saya benar, dahsyat namun paling sulit saya lakukan karena memang terbiasa hanya menjadi Handai Taulan untuk orang lain. Boro-boro, sukur-sukur diinget. Lah wong biasa ditinggalin dilupain ama temen sendiri. Saya pun sampai sekarang masih mencari cara untuk self branding diri saya biar tidak dilupakan.
Dulu saya melakukan self branding dengan mencat rambut saya. Dengan begitu orang mudah mengingat saya. ?Itu loooh yang rambutnya kuning? ?Ituuu bule buleee? Walhasil orang lumayan inget ke saya, tapi setelah itu semua dihapus mereka lupa saya. Waduh!
Satu dari banyak hal yang harus saya ubah pertama kali itu adalah berubah menjadi supel. Masa 5 tahun mencoba menjadi yang lebih baik masih tetep gak jauh lebih baik sih?

santai aja cuyyyy….jangan terlalu cemen. anak2 dsana gaul tapi agak keras, klo kmu lemah kmu akan jai budak orang lain..klo kmu pintr bergaul orang-orang akan segan melihat kmu.apalagi kmu punya banyak teman yang preman…..it’s good.tunjukkan
