Marriage in pop culture – tv series

As a nowadays generations, I’ve exposed myself to a lot of pop culture..and a lot of pop culture thinks we overrated marriage that much and become bitter with the concept of marriage..

Take whats was said in tv series lie to me “the bride pretends she is virgin and the groom pretends he have found the one”

?

This symbolize that nowadays marriage was not like what it used to be..something that really wonderfully happens..some holy symbols of one achievement..

Nowadays generations have lost the purpose in marriage..and sex before marriage is probably the biggest contributor of this changing value in marriage..

In other tv series, the leverage says “Marriage is one big scam, in the end the bride and the groom runaway with all the money”

Marriage is also become one of the biggest scam in indonesia..take in the most sinetron (indonesian soap opera tv series) the female proclaimed that she is pregnant with the male and wishing the male “take the responsibilities” by marrying the guy..hey stupid, you’ll never know whose baby is that until you test the dna after that baby is popped..

Got what i meant by one of the biggest scam in indonesian social culture?

In nowadays culture marriage itself has changed from something symbolically holy to just something symbolic..

is it wrong for someone to find the real marriage not just to prove one symbol?
