Persephone is the daughter of earth goddess and also the queen of the underworld (hades wife)….Abducted by Hades (god of the underworld) for 8 months and returned to her mother for 4 months..That’s when the spring came as an effect of her mother’s overjoy…

This series of persephone is based on that story…
